Eric T. Burkhardt is a litigation attorney at Schatz, Steinberg & Klayman dedicating his practice to motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and premises liability as well as a wide variety of criminal matters including DUI, narcotics, firearm, assault, and robbery offenses. Rick is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Schatz, Steinberg & Klayman, Rick gained invaluable experience at the Defenders Association of Philadelphia where he handled hundreds of cases from the initial arrest through preliminary hearing, pre-trial motions, trials, sentencings, and violation of probation hearings.
Rick believes that clear and open communication is key and approaches every case with a focus on compassion and understanding to consistently obtain favorable results for his clients.
Rick resides in South Philadelphia and is a proud member of the Spartans New Years Brigade. He enjoys preparing for the annual Philadelphia Mummers Parade and serving as the Spartans Club President.
